The Shadow Person

A man, Jack, began to notice a figure lurking in the shadows of his apartment building. At first, he thought it was just his imagination, but soon he saw the figure everywhere.

The figure was tall and imposing, with eyes that seemed to bore into Jack's soul. Jack tried to avoid it, but the figure always seemed to be one step ahead.

One night, Jack confronted the figure, but it didn't respond. Instead, it reached out and touched Jack's face, and he felt a chill run down his spine.

The figure began to whisper Jack's name, and he realized that it was a part of him, a shadow self that had been hiding in the darkness. The figure's eyes seemed to burn with an inner fire, and Jack felt himself being consumed by his own darkness.
