The Empty Jar
A wise old man filled a jar with rocks and asked his students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

Then, the old man added pebbles to the jar, filling in the spaces between the rocks. He asked his students again if the jar was full.

They thought it was, but the old man added sand to the jar, filling in the remaining spaces. Finally, he poured water into the jar, filling it to the brim.

The old man explained that the jar represented life, and the rocks, pebbles, sand, and water represented different priorities and responsibilities.

Moral of the Story
The story teaches us that life is about balance and prioritization. By focusing on the most important things (the rocks) first, we can then make room for other important things (the pebbles, sand, and water). By prioritizing and balancing our responsibilities, we can live a more fulfilling life.
