Zainab’s Dream

In a quiet town in Kaduna, Zainab sold puff-puff after school to support her mother. While frying, she’d hum songs and sketch dress designs on old newspapers.

One evening, a woman stopped by, bought some puff-puff, and noticed Zainab’s sketches.

“You made these?” she asked.
