https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NohhM1730P8 Former minority leader and Senator representing Abia South Senatorial District, Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe (APGA) staged a walk-out of the Senate chambers as he saw his motion for the immortalisation of Professor Humphrey Nwosu over-ruled by Presiding Officer. Senator Abaribe had tried to forward a motion to recognize the former Chairman of the National Electoral Commission, Professor Nwosu (now deceased) following his role in the 1993 Presidential election, adjudged Nigeria's best till date. His arguments were countered by Majority Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele and despite Senator Yahaya Abubakar Abdullahi's (PDP - Kebbi North) public rebuke of the Presiding Officer (Barau Jubrin - Deputy Senate President), it was eventually over-ruled.
