Today, we will be attending the passing-out parade of 690 operatives of the Ogun State Security Network Agency (Amotekun Corps) in our dear state.
We take this opportunity to emphasize the critical importance of security in Ogun State and beyond. Security remains the bedrock of development, fostering an environment where individuals and businesses can thrive without fear.
We have approved the recruitment of 1,000 additional Amotekun Corps personnel, bringing the total to over 2,000, as part of our commitment to securing every corner of Ogun State.
Alongside this, we are providing more patrol vehicles, electric motorcycles, and communication gadgets to enhance their effectiveness.
This initiative, announced during the passing-out parade of 690 Batch D trainees, aims to strengthen grassroots security, complement federal efforts, and reduce unemployment.
We commend the dedication and discipline of the Corps and urge them to prioritize intelligence gathering and community collaboration while maintaining professionalism.
