The Golden Boot Award Race in the Premier League is gradually building momentum as Day 22 highlight a major twist to the Top Scorers Chart on Sunday.

Chris Wood scored his 4th consecutive Premier League goal against Southampton in Nottingham's 3-2 victory on Sunday. The Striker scored the winning goal to put his goals tally to 14 in 22 games, trailing Salah by just 4 goals and 3 behind Haaland. Chris Wood has been very firm and steady with goal scoring this season and with his consistent performance, there is every possibility that he can contend till the end of the season based on this quality.



Although Mohamed Salah didn't score a single goal in Liverpool's last game but his commanding position on the Top Scorers Table remains firm. Truly the gap between him and 2nd placed Haaland has been shortened but his goal scoring ability has never been in doubt. The Egyptian remains a threat to Haaland as his 18 goal this season is also accompanied by 13 whopping assist after playing just 21 games. Who will win Golden Boot Award this season?
