Popular Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), couldn’t hide his disgust and anger after encountering a young man defecating in public on top of a bridge in Lagos. VDM explained that he had just arrived in Lagos when a car driving ahead of him flashed its headlights on the bridge—revealing, to his shock, a man openly defecating on the well-known Ikeja bridge that leads to the airport. Furious at the act, VDM confronted the man and demanded that he clean up his mess. With no other option, the man was forced to pack his excrement and was shamefully filmed walking away while holding it in his hand. Expressing disbelief, VDM questioned why such unhygienic and unacceptable behavior continues without consequences—and why people remain silent about it. Watch the video.
