ANXIETY, PANIC GRIPS EDO APC OVER FRESH DISCOVERIES AT THE ELECTION PETITION TRIBUNAL

There is palpable anxiety and fear in the Edo State chapter of the APC following developments at the ongoing Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal especially regarding multiple revelations and discoveries with massive evidence of rigging and electoral fraud that characterised the controversial election of September 21st 2024 which produced Monday Okpebholo as Governor of Edo State.

As foretold, the Tribunal has started exposing the thieves that stole the mandate of the people of Edo State. The plethora of material facts and the monumental evidence of the electoral robbery that took place on September 21st has left the judiciary , lawyers on all sides and indeed the generality of Nigerians flummoxed and bewildered. In fact the revelations have again led many to question the progress in our electoral system and how desperate, power hungry politicians have managed to circumvent innovations like BVAS, card readers and biometric accreditation to brazenly manipulate the mandate of the people.

The Mandate bandits who had been screaming "go to Court" are now overwhelmed by the evidence of their misdemeanour laid bare before the Edo people who are keenly following proceedings at the Tribunal.

Yesterday, the long awaited Oredo electoral heist was laid bare as the Oredo Collation Agent of the Witness told the court that after Polling Unit results have been declared and uploaded on IREV, the 3rd Respondents (INEC) incorrectly collated and computed false results in Forms EC8C(LGA) level for 53 Polling Units across Oredo LGA in favour of APC. The testimony was backed by certified true copies of Form EC8A, BVAS accreditation reports and BVAS extracts which clearly showed computation of incorrect figures for the APC and its Candidate across 53 polling units in Oredo LGA.

Even Gov. Okpebholo's LGA Esan Central was not left out in the frenzy of electoral fraud as the Esan Central Collation Agent told the court that there was massive Rigging and irregularities in 22 Polling Units. Relying on evidence from Form EC25B among other documents, the Agents/Witness was able to show that INEC failed to record in the prescribed forms, the serial numbers and other particulars of result sheets, Ballot Papers, BVAS machines and other sensitive Electoral materials used for the conduct of the election in 22 Polling Units, giving room for manipulation of the results from the affected units and that results from those units are invalid for failure to comply with prior recording. He also established through Forensic Tabular computation that the invalidation of all invalid and illegal votes allocated accordingly will leave APC

‎with 7,796 Votes and PDP with 8,039 as opposed to the 10,998 votes allocated to the APC and 8,618 votes allocated PDP in Esan Central LGA.

It is important to note that these revelations are not new nor surprising to Edo people who know APC never won Election in Oredo and Edo State in general. They saw their votes carted away to the State Collation by APC in collusion with INEC staff and some security agents where figures were simply allocated to favour the APC.

Hence, these evidence backed facts emanating from the Tribunal amount to an overwhelming reinforcement of what Edo people already know that APC did not win elections in Edo State.

The people are hopeful and expectant that Justice will be served and the people's mandate will be restored.

APc know that inec rigged and stole Edo people's mandate for them

Sadly for them, the mandate is about to be reclaimed by Asue Ighodalo

If what happened in Nasarawa State could scale through , fear Our judiary system , nothing will happened at the end.

Asue Ighodalo is far more competent and presentable than monday okpebholo. I hope the tribunal do the needful and save the state from embarrassment
