Barcelona produced a dominant performance to end their recent home woes with a resounding 7-1 victory over Valencia in LaLiga.

The hosts, buoyed by a four-match unbeaten streak, came out all guns blazing. Valencia, however, failed to respect Barcelona's quality, conceding early and often. In just the third minute, Lamine Yamal’s cut-back found Frenkie de Jong, who slotted home to give the Blaugrana the lead. Barely five minutes later, Ferran Torres volleyed in a cross from Alejandro Balde to double the advantage.

Barcelona’s third came in the 18th minute after Yamal’s clever backheel nutmeg set up Fermín López, whose pass allowed Raphinha to calmly round Valencia keeper Giorgi Mamardashvili and finish into an empty net. It got worse for Valencia in the 28th minute when Pau Cubarsí's long ball found an unmarked Fermín, who confidently stroked the ball into the net.

Valencia had a glimmer of hope when they were denied a penalty, but Barcelona quickly restored their dominance. In stoppage time of the first half, Fermín followed up a Raphinha shot that struck the crossbar to net the fifth goal of the half.

The second half saw Robert Lewandowski eager to add his name to the score sheet, but Valencia found a brief respite when Hugo Duro tapped in a cross from Diego López to pull one back. However, Barcelona were quick to respond, with Fermín setting up Lewandowski for a tidy finish in the 56th minute.

The final blow came when Torres’ cross deflected off César Tárrega into his own net, giving Barcelona a comprehensive 7-1 victory.
