The official logo for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations has been revealed by the Confederation of African Football, or CAF.

The new logo honours the history and solidarity of the African continent and is a contemporary and iconic representation of African football.

The tournament logo, which draws inspiration from Moroccan “zellij,” a classic mosaic art form, reinterprets football as a canvas where passion, accuracy, and inventiveness meet.

The harmony between heritage and contemporary is reflected in the logo. Similar to how football and art combine to produce something remarkable, each pattern and shape represents the solidarity of nations, players, and supporters.

Every moment in football builds towards a masterpiece of skill, teamwork, and victory, much as the way zellij components are painstakingly created and put together to create stunning designs.

The vivid hues—blue for limitless potential, red for tenacity, green for harmony, and gold for success—go beyond simple beauty.

It honours Africa’s cultural past while capturing the accuracy and fluidity of the game by fusing the geometry of football with the complex beauty of zellij. It is a celebration of African workmanship and the dynamic beauty of football.
