1. Most people want to blow, but don’t want to build. Everybody dey shout “soft life” but can’t sacrifice 6 months to learn a skill, build discipline or delay enjoyment. Success no be cruise.
2. Most people don’t keep their word. Today they promise you “I go call you back,” tomorrow they’re forming amnesia. In business, in friendship — if you’re reliable in Naija, you’re rare.
3. Most people don’t want to support you until it’s popular. Start a business or podcast, na crickets. Let Wizkid repost you, and they’ll suddenly remember you’re “fam.” Support no dey sweet until the world approves. 4. Most people complain more than they plan. “Na this country,” “Buhari did this,” “I no get helper” — but zero action. Your next move should be your focus, not your next excuse.
5. Most people copy blindly. One person starts a POS shop, 20 people go rush open their own on the same street. No creativity, just bandwagon. That's why oversaturation dey choke everywhere.
6. Most people care more about looking rich than being rich. Phone on loan, clothes on credit, still shouting “outside tonight!” But zero savings, zero investment. For what? To oppress people wey no even notice you? 7. Most people don’t read or learn. Ask the average person when last they finished a book, took an online course or watched a video to improve. Silence. But gossip? They know the full gist with timeline. What to Do Instead?
