How To Always Be Happy In Life

A friend came to my office this afternoon to seek my opinion about someone who said “sadness is more than happiness in life.”

Meaning when we think about our existence in life, our sad moments are more than our happy moments.

Is that true?

Well, I believe that the person is right. He is right about his reality of life.

When we talk about how life is in reality, nobody understands it in full; individuals only see life just the way that they are.

My reality of life is different from yours.

If we think about what could make us sad in life, we might run out of numbers. So also are reasons for happiness.

Our marriage, family, children, financial or health status, and so on can sometimes make us unhappy. Yet, they can be your source of happiness.

So, your level of happiness and sadness in life depends on how you see your circumstances and how you interpret the situation you find yourself in life.

For instance, some adults who don’t have a car are worried, some are sad, and some are just indifferent.

While you can choose how to feel about it, remember that some people don’t even have those legs you freely walk with.

You can have plenty in life and still feel unhappy if you are not content because regardless of what you have and where you are in life, there will always be people who are ahead of you.

"Happiness becomes easier when you stop complaining about your problems and start being grateful for all the problems you don’t have."

Here are some habits you can cultivate to increase your happiness in life:

1. Focus on what truly matters to you and avoid distractions or unnecessary concerns.

2. Regularly count your blessings and express gratitude for what you have.

3. Remember that even if you feel you don't have enough, your situation could be worse; recognize the blessings in your life.

4. Take responsibility for your happiness. If you're not happy, understand that you are the cause.

5. Maintain a positive mindset in all situations. The fear and anxiety we hold about the future can affect us more than the actual reality.

6. And lastly, always practice contentment.
