I know you must have heard the naysayers of life, who say things like, don't start a business, its risky, you will lose money etc.
They are not your problem. The fact that they lost a good portion of their money does not mean you will lose yours too.
Sure, business is risky.
But what is a risk?
A risk is anything that has the possibility of failure.
That means, a job is risky too. You can get fired!
But with business, its more risky if you don't develop certain skills.
And the number one skill you have to develop is the skill called selling.
When a person who doesn't know how to sell, goes into business and fails at it, you should not be surprised.
It is not because business is risky that he failed, rather he failed because he didn't know how to sell.
See, in anything you want to start in life, just learn all you need to learn about it, and know how much risk is involved.
Then proceed in it, while putting in all the necessary steps to manage the risks.
Take crypto for instance. Crypto is one of the most risky things to get into, yet some people still made their wealth from it.
Why?
Because they learnt how to trade, and they learnt how to manage the risks so they don't get burnt.
So if you want to start a business, please go ahead and start, but first, learn all the skills you need to learn to succeed in it.
Then, study the risks involved and put systems in place to manage the risks.
