Alice texted her address to Angel immediately she got back home.
"Honey, tomorrow is Nurse Alice' birthday, she invited me for the celebration." Angel told her husband.
"Babe, you know you are pregnant, I don't want you to go for any parties, I don't want anything that will stress either you or the baby." Roberts said.
"Honey, I think it's just a small party because she is having it at home. Nothing will happen to me joor." She said and playfully tapped her husband. The couple continued joking.
"If any guy approaches you, tell them that you are married and that your husband head used to touch." Roberts said and his wife couldn't control her laughter.
It was time for Angel to go to the party. She wore a red alluring gown. You would never guess she had given birth not to talk of being pregnant the second time. Her husband complimented her and told her to be safe.
She got to Alice's house but could not hear any sound of music or any vibes that could show a party was going on. She started wondering if she was in the right, she however summoned courage and knocked on the first door by the left. Alice had told her earlier that it was her own apartment. A gloomy Alice came to open the door for her.
"What's going on Alice, what's happening, where is everyone, why are you crying?" Alice asked all at once as she entered the house.
"I caught my fiance cheating on me. We have been dating for seven years, seven good years, and this is how me pays me back." Alice cried. "Oh, my God, I'm so sorry to hear that." Angel consoled.
"Imagine, I've even forgotten that today is my birthday. You know what, I think I need to go go out. I need to forget about everything, can you come with me, Angel." Alice pleaded.
"Of course, I'll be glad to do so. I mean I didn't dress all the way from home for nothing." Angel said.
"Oh, just imagine, I forgot to compliment you due to the way I was feeling earlier. You look amazing, Angel." Alice complimented.
"Thank you very much Alice. Please, stand up and go get dressed, you look like a shadow of yourself." Angel said.
"Hmm, you will soon be the one that will look like a shadow of yourself." Alice thought and chuckled within herself. She stood up and held Angel's hands passionately and thanked her for coming. She then went inside and dressed up.
Afterwards, the two ladies left and went to have fun. Angel never knew that Alice had planned to drug her drink.
The two of them ordered for drinks, Angel just ordered fruit juice because of her pregnancy. As they were drinking and gisting, Alice told Angel that she wanted to buy a shoe from Jumia, she asked her if she could help her select from the collection that Jumia had. As Angel was checking the stuff on Alice phone, Angel set out to fulfil her plans.
"This your drink, you have not even drank anything in it, let me drink small from it." Alice joked and carried the juice to drink but instead she slipped in the drug and pretended to drink it meanwhile Angel did not notice anything because she was busy looking for the right shoe she would pick for Alice.
