"Which nurse?" Angel asked in fear.

"That nurse that I told you and dad that is wicked." David replied.

"Nurse Alice?" Angel asked looking at her husband with furious eyes.

"How come you can hear now, babe?" Roberts asked.

"You've not answered my question, is it nurse Alice that came to the house." Angel asked angrily.

"Yes honey, she came over to check up on us." Roberts said, embarrassment flooding over him.

"Check up on you guys for what, are you guys sick? The last time I checked I was the sick one, so what's she doing in our house." Angel queried angrily.

"It's not like that baby." Roberts said trying to rub Angel's shoulders.

"Don't baby me!" Angel said. Tears were already running down her cheeks.

"Angel, she just came because she was concerned about how I and David have been faring since she knew I've been in the hospital ever since your accident. She brought food for us to eat.

"And you ate?" Angel questioned

"What did you expect from me Angel, I've not eaten any tangible thing since the accident. All I've done is been by your side, I've never left you even for one minute. Did I do wrong in eating food that was offered to me, don't you care about me?" Roberts asked his wife.

"I care about you honey but it's just that the nurse is really wicked." Angel said hoping in her heart that she will make sense to her husband.

"You just sounded like your son, how can a nurse who has done nothing but take care of you be wicked?" Roberts asked.

"That's the problem honey, she's not who you think she is, she is very pretentious, she is a green snake in a green grass. Anyways, honey, I want to be discharged immediately, the ENT doctor brought hearing aids for me from the Federal Medical center, that's why I can hear you. So, I think I'm fit to go now, I need to go and set things right in my home." Angel said.

"But you still have wounds that have not yet healed." Roberts said.

"Yes, I spoke to Dr Femi, he said if I'm discharged, nurses can be coming from time to time to dress the wounds." Angel explained.

"Alright, I'll go and meet the doctor so that we can start processing your discharge, but babe, are you sure you really want to be discharged." Roberts asked.

"Yes, I'm very sure." Angel replied.

So, Roberts went and made every payment for the hospital bill so within few minutes, they were discharged. Roberts, Angel and their son came back to their house that day but what they didn't know was that the deed had already been done. Alice put a love portion in the soup she brought for Roberts.
