France, Britain, Germany and other EU members don't want Russia to continue as Europe most powerful country. So, they have been supporting US to fight wars , eg Iraq, Afghanistan and others. They believe that's what NATO is all about.

Europe feels it is time for US to help them defeat Russia but unfortunately US under Donald Trump is exercising restraint, fearing WW3 and considered that 350 billion dollars military aid to Ukraine in the past four years is enough and it's time to end the war.

The most unfortunate thing is that Ukraine is chosen as the battle ground under inexperienced Zelensky. Britain Germany and France must have pressured Zelensky not to signed the resources agreement with Trump
