BAYELSA WOMEN PROTEST AT OXBOW LAKE AGAINST SEN. NATASHA
The Concerned South-South Women group, Bayelsa State has strongly condemned the recent behavior of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan towards the Senate President, Senator God'swill Akpabio during a Plenary Session in the Senate.
The women, who were all adorned in black, relayed their condemnation after a protest walk at Ox-Bow Lake, displaying various placards with inscriptions against Natasha's act.
The leader of the group, Hon. Ebiere Akpobasa, expressed disappointment over Sen. Natasha's behavior; saying Natasha's behaviour does not reflect the true virtues of the Nigerian woman, as they expressed shock over her poor understanding of the Senateβs modus operandi and demanded apology.
An old-market woman who is a member of the group, Mrs Ebiere Ebiere, called on Sen. Natasha to desist from her act of trying to dent Sen. Akpabio's hard earned reputation.
The Youth leader of the group in Bayelsa State, Timi Philip said it is discouraging to see a young woman like Sen. Natasha who is lucky to be in Senate to have acted in the manner she did; urging her to stop her demeaning behavior.
