Liverpool are reportedly prepared to make an offer for Ademola Lookman as the Reds are set to bolster their squad ahead of next season.

With four goals and two assists in 48 games for Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals, Lookman did not have a significant influence while he was at Everton.
However, the winger is prospering at Atalanta, where he was awarded the team’s player of the season for the 2022–2023 and 2023–2024 seasons and has scored 49 goals and provided 22 assists in 108 games for the Serie A team.
Last season, the 27-year-old scored a hat-trick in Atalanta’s 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final, helping the team win.
At the Confederation of African Football Awards in Marrakech in December, Lookman was also recognized as the 2024 African Player of the Year.
With 17 goals and seven assists in 30 competitive games this season, the Nigerian international forward has performed admirably for Atalanta but a public spat with head coach Gian Piero Gasperini makes his departure at the conclusion of the season all but certain.
According to reports, Liverpool are willing to pay €45 million (£37 million, $47 million) for the Nigerian star because they have been an admirer of him.
It’s interesting to note that despite Juventus’ interest in the forward, Atalanta would prefer to sell him to a team outside of Italy, reports Team Talk.
