In a show of solidarity and compassion, Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, broke his fast with Muslim faithful in Kano on Monday.
The special Iftar event, held at Al-Furqan mosque in Kano metropolis, was part of the president’s Renewed Hope Youth Engagement (RHYE) initiative.
During the event, Seyi Tinubu also flagged off a feeding programme for the less privileged and the disabled.
This gesture underscores the president’s commitment to supporting vulnerable members of society.
Earlier in the day, Seyi Tinubu paid a visit to the residence of renowned business mogul, Aminu Dantata, and later paid homage to Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The special Iftar was attended by a diverse group of dignitaries, including members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), led by its Chairman, Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa.
Seyi Tinubu’s presence at the event highlights the importance of community engagement and social responsibility, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
