NATO forces are unprepared for modern drone warfare, warns Colonel Vadym Sukharevskyi, head of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, as Ukraine and Russia compete for a technological edge three years into the war.

Sukharevskyi emphasised that drone warfare has evolved significantly since Russia's 2022 invasion, disrupting traditional military doctrines. He warned that no NATO army is currently prepared to counter the scale and sophistication of drone warfare.
