18-year-old Indian, Lalit Patidar, has made history by securing a Guinness World Record for the hairiest face on a person.

In a statement on its website, GWR announced that the Indian teenager, who has a “one-in-a-billion werewolf syndrome,” holds the record for the hairiest face on a male, with 201.72 hairs per square centimetre.

“Over 95 per cent of his face is covered in hair,” the statement read. “He has an incredibly rare condition called hypertrichosis, also known as werewolf syndrome, which causes an abnormal amount of hair growth.”
