Through out my life I've encountered a myraid out of people ranging from those who brought me Joy to those who brought me pain, I've experienced the love and support of family, friend's and even stranger's, however have also been betrayed, hurt and let down by the very same people who were supposed to be there for me.these experiences I've left me feeling empty and lonely causing me to believe that people are inherently selfish and cannot be trusted with my innermost thoughts and feelings, as I grew up I've had to learn to guard my heart against emotional pain, have built walls around myself to protect myself from anymore heartache and it's become a constant struggle to maintain a facade of aloofness, I hide behind the mask of sarcasm and humor hoping to keep everyone at arms length but deep down I still long for someone who will accept me for who I am flaws and all....
