A common misconceptions about Jaguars is that they're to be feared but unless being provoked, there's no proof or evidence that they were threat to humans. They are Apex predators they don't attack without provocation, instead, they should be respected.
Jaguars are the third largest wild cats in the world. They live in rainforest and they are the most aquatic of the wild cats, They can thrive in wet habitat like flooded forests. They are solitary hunters, they hunt on the ground but they can climb trees to pounce on their prey. They are good swimmers and they especially adapt at moving through water whilst hunting.
Jaguars can roar but they cannot purr. They are endangered due to poaching, habitat loss and also illegal trading of their body parts.
