LOOKING FORWARD WITH HOPE...

The only way forward is forward. You can't make progress looking backwards.
It is good to look back for lessons, but not for too long.
If you're alive, you're better than the greatest man who died yesterday because you have hope!
They've seen the best of the dead but no one has seen the best of you yet. And as long as you're alive, you can always write a new story, correct your wrongs make improvements on your achievements.
Regardless of what happened yesterday or what you're facing now, there's hope for you...it is not yet too late until you are 'late'.
Only a hopeless living man is worse than the dead.

There's this story of a business and his son. The family business was going down and the Father was losing money but he refused to shut down the business. The son couldn't understand why his father was refusing to close the business despite the losses. Dad, why are you refusing to close down this business?" The son asked, "I'll show you.." the Father replied.
The man took his son to a well and when the son didn't expect it, the Father threw the boy inside. The son struggled and was almost drowning when the Father came to his rescue. This left the boy confused. The second day the Father and the son again went to the well and like the previous day, when the son wasn't looking the Father threw him inside again. The son struggled harder this time and managed to stay afloat before the Father rescued him. The Father asked his son "why did you struggle harder than the yesterday?"
The son said "Yesterday I wasn't sure what to do so I gave up trying but today I knew you will come to save me that's why I tried harder and didn't give up. "That's exactly the point I wanted to pass across to you, you had hope" said the Father

This story is a lesson. Life without hope is like having Life without living.
You need hope to truly live. And only by looking forward can you find it!
