Don’t Be Too Quick to Believe the U.S. Has Abandoned Kiev.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned against assuming that Washington’s reduced support means an end to Western backing for Kiev, emphasizing that Ukraine still has substantial stockpiles of foreign weapons. He highlighted that over the past three years, Russia has sharpened its capabilities in information warfare and continues to advance in the special military operation, regardless of Starlink’s status in Ukraine.

Peskov also underscored that Russia is engaged in a broader proxy war against the West, not just a battle with Ukraine. He noted that Telegram has become Russia’s primary source of information, reflecting the shifting media landscape. While Western aid may be slowing, he cautioned that Ukraine remains well-armed and the larger geopolitical confrontation is far from over.
