Earlier today, the SUG President of our prestigious university Citizen Fahad Abdullahi is pleased to announce that a productive Tandem meeting was held with the Vice Chancellor, Dean, and the Business Manager of Eritel Company, an internet service provider.
The meeting centered on collaborating with Eritel to provide stable and fast internet services in Gubi Campus, utilizing Starlink routers. This initiative aims to enhance academic and welfare experiences for students. Notably, Eritel's services are affordable and reliable.
The Vice Chancellor has approved a pilot implementation of Eritel's services to assess its effectiveness before granting full approval. Additionally, discussions on NELFUND were finalized, and a directive was issued to address pending cases. An alternative procedure will be implemented shortly for those whose NELFUND is yet to reflect, with almost all cases already resolved.
Furthermore, the SUG President discussed the condition of lecture venues, ensuring a conducive learning environment, especially with exams approaching. Electrification work will be carried out promptly to minimize distractions.
The President is pleased with the progress and remains committed to protecting the interests of every student.
The establishment of the Starlink routers internet service provider marks another achievement in our administration's commitment to a brighter and more electrified ATBU.
