A great friend and brother, Nathaniel Bassey, once shared a story about his journey. Not too many years ago, he was in the same country, singing with a good voice and grace, yet not receiving the recognition and honor he enjoys today. What changed? He moved beyond just being valuable to becoming productive.
Today, if you want to invite him, you must be prepared to handle all the logistics with joy. Why? Because you are not only inviting a man of value but one who is productive.
This story serves as a reflection for many of us. Could this be why people constantly commend your work yet you find yourself struggling? For instance, someone might tell a talented cook, “Madam, your food is so delicious,” but she remains poor. The day she decides to turn her value into productivity by packaging her food properly and presenting it as a seed to someone influential, her story could change. Imagine the influential person tasting the food and saying, “Who made this?” She replies, “I did.” The response might be, “How long have you been doing this?” and the next request could be, “I need 100 pieces by tomorrow.”
At that moment, God positions destiny helpers, and in just one month, she could be cooking for kings. It is only when you serve kings that you receive the rewards of kings.
The Palace Is the Goal
Never stop developing yourself until you find yourself in the palace. The palace is where the gold is; it is where treasures are kept. If you are currently serving gatekeepers and other people, thank God for that, but don’t stop there. Keep evolving until you encounter the king. It is in the palace, serving kings, that you can find rest and receive the rewards meant for royalty.
You cannot receive the rewards of kings while remaining outside the palace. Serve your way there through excellence. Develop yourself. Whether in ministry, business, or any other field, give yourself the framework that turns your
