The Stranger in My Photos 5

I stopped taking pictures. Stopped using my phone altogether.

But the photos keep showing up. On my laptop. My work computer. Even an old flash drive I haven’t touched in years. He’s always there — closer every time.

The latest one wasn’t even a photo. It was a video.

It started with me sitting at my desk, typing. I don’t remember recording it.

Halfway through, I saw him step into frame behind me. He leaned in close, his face just over my shoulder, watching me type.

Then he turned to the camera. And smiled.

The video cut to black.

But right before it ended, he whispered something.

"Almost time."
