The Stranger in My Photos 6

I stopped sleeping with the lights off. It doesn’t help.

This morning, I found a new photo. It wasn’t on my phone this time — it was printed. A glossy 4x6 sitting on my kitchen table.

It was me, staring at my bedroom window. But the curtains were open, and I never open them.

Outside the window, in the dark, he was standing there. His face pressed against the glass.

The worst part? My head was turned toward him in the picture… like I knew he was there.

But I don’t remember looking.
