Cuttlefish also undergoes frequent colour changes due to numerous large pigment cell called Chromatophores. They belong to the phylum Mollusca and the class Cephalopoda. They are exclusively marine which makes them osmoconformers. They're edible. Cuttlefish ink was formerly an important dye called sepia. Their bone known as cuttlebone is also used to make cast for metals.
