Scientists discovered a planet called 55 Cancri e, which is believed to be mostly made of carbon — and possibly a third of it could be diamond due to the intense pressure and heat.

2. Octopuses have three hearts — and two of them stop beating when they swim.
Two hearts pump blood to the gills, while the third heart pumps it to the rest of the body. But when they swim, the main heart pauses, which is why they prefer crawling to swimming.

3. Bananas are technically berries — but strawberries aren’t.
Botanically speaking, bananas meet the criteria for berries, while strawberries don’t.

4. You’re technically glowing in the dark — but it’s too faint for the human eye to see.

Sharks have been around for about 400 million years, while trees didn’t appear until roughly 350 million years ago.

8. The human brain can generate enough electricity to power a lightbulb.
Your brain produces about 20 watts of electrical power — enough to light up a small bulb.

9. There’s a library in Poland with books that can kill you.
The library of the University of Warsaw holds books covered in arsenic — a poisonous substance that was once used in bookbinding dyes.

10. Your stomach gets a new lining every few days.
To prevent itself from digesting its own tissue, your stomach regenerates its lining every 3–4 days.
