Lesson: "Control What You Can, Trust God with the Rest"
Bible verse: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
---
Breakdown:
1. Control what you can:
Your attitude, effort, and how you treat others are within your control.
Focus on doing your best — not worrying about what’s out of your hands.
2. Let go of what you can’t:
Some things (like other people’s actions, the future, or unexpected challenges) are beyond your control.
Worry won’t change anything — but prayer and trust can give you peace.
3. Trust God with the outcome:
God sees the full picture, even when you can’t. When you trust Him, you’re not giving up — you’re giving Him room to work things out in ways you couldn’t imagine.

Challenge for the Week:
Each day, ask yourself:
What can I control today? — Focus on that.
What do I need to release to God? — Pray about that.
By Sunday next week, you’ll look back and see how much lighter you feel when you stop carrying what was never yours to hold.
