Tears fall like the rain,
My heart is filled with pain,
A sorrow that won't fade,
A grief that's hard to shade.

My soul is lost and blue,
I'm searching for a clue,
To lift this heavy heart,
To play a brand new part.

The world outside is bright,
But in my darkness, I take flight,
I'm chasing shadows, night and day,
Trying to find my way.

So let me cry, let me grieve,
For in my sorrow, I'll find relief,
And though it's hard to see,
