My friend almost lured me to set me up because she wanted my mán to herself. I had been in a long distance relationship with my man for over three years, of which my bestie is aware of because they have spoken on the phone more than once.
Finally, after three years of online dating, he told me he was coming back to Nigeria. And this time he was coming to come and see my family so we can take our relationship to the next level. And after that I will join him abroad. I was over the moon and of course I shared the news with my best friend.
She sounded really happy for me over the phone for me and I kept gisting her of things my man said he had planned for both of us because I felt free discussing everything either way with her. We have been friend from childhood so it’s normal, I felt that I could trust her.
When she came to visit me, she even sounded more happier than I am. And at some point It even look like she was more excited than I was. When my man finally arrived, I went to the airport to go and pick him with her. And she was all over him. But I was too excited to pay attention to what she was doing.
After that day, she kept asking me about him. Every conversation we had was always finding a way to talk about my man, yet I still didn’t pay attention because I felt it was normal since we were besties and I trusted her.
Two weeks after my man arrival, she told me that her client called her for home service. She’s a makeup artist and a hairdresser. She combines the two. She asked me to accompany her to the place. She told me that she would come to my place and then we will go together.
When she got to my place, I was already getting ready. While we were preparing to go out, i decided to use the toilet. I took her phone to quickly make a call, I ran out of battery. I was trying to call my man. The moment I wrote down the five numbers, I noticed that she had already saved the number and was saved as mine. I quickly went to her WhatsApp and that was where I saw their conversation.
Apparently, she told my man that I was ch£@ting on him, that she was going to send him a proof that I was going to one of our guys place and that was what I do all those time while he has been abroad. That I had numerous men that I sl££p with for mon£y.
So her plan was to lure me to a place, set me up and send it to my man. I was so m@d that my man couldn’t come to me and tell me that my friend was tr@shing my name behind my back. And he didn’t really trust me enough to tell me. I couldn’t even believe my eyes.
She walked in inside the restroom and when she saw me, she knew I had seen something, she quickly sn@tched the phone from my hand, she took her bag screaming as if she was running out of my house, that I should have left her alone, I didn’t deserve him because she was better for him than me.
