Here are 10 exercises that dancers should do to improve their technique, flexibility, and overall performance:

1. *Pliés*: Strengthens legs and improves balance. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, then bend knees and lower body down.

2. *Tendus*: Improves footwork and ankle strength. Stand with feet together, then stretch one foot out to the side and back.

3. *Dégagés*: Enhances foot speed and control. Stand with feet together, then quickly brush one foot out to the side and back.

4. *Ronds de jambe*: Increases flexibility and control in the legs. Sit on the floor with legs straight out, then make small circles with one foot.

5. *Fouettés*: Improves turning technique and leg speed. Stand with feet together, then quickly whip one foot around in a circle.

6. *Arabesques*: Strengthens core and improves balance. Stand on one leg, then extend the other leg behind you.

7. *Cambrés*: Increases flexibility and control in the back. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, then arch your back and look up.

8. *Battements*: Improves leg strength and control. Stand with feet together, then quickly lift one leg up and down.

9. *Tour en l'air*: Enhances turning technique and control. Stand with feet together, then turn around in a circle.

10. *Splits*: Increases flexibility and range of motion. Sit on the floor with legs straight out, then slowly lower yourself down into a split.

Remember to always warm up before practicing these exercises, and to listen to your body and take regular breaks to avoid injury.
