Shadows on the wall,
A heart that beats with emptiness,
A soul that hears no call.

In crowded rooms, I'm alone,
A stranger in the night,
I search for connection, a gentle tone,
A friendly light.

The city sleeps, its darkness deep,
I lie awake, my thoughts astray,
Longing for a hand to hold, a voice to keep,
A love to chase the loneliness away.

But for now, I'll wander, lost and blue,
Through streets that seem to stretch and fade,
And hope that someday, someone will see me, too,
And end this lonely shade.
