Leandro Trossard's future at Arsenal has been cast into doubt after the Belgian winger rejected the club's latest contract offer.




The 30-year-old, who is under contract until 2026, turned down a proposal that included a one-year extension with an option for an additional year – a standard policy for players over 30 at the club.

Negotiations reportedly broke down before the Christmas period, and talks have been deferred until the end of the season. Trossard, who has scored four goals and provided three assists in 28 appearances this season, has struggled for form recently, fueling speculation about a potential transfer away from the Emirates Stadium.


Arsenal, meanwhile, is said to be exploring reinforcements for their attack during the January transfer window. Reports suggest the club is considering a €58 million bid for Athletic Club winger Nico Williams, provided the player is open to the move.
